We generally use our blogs for pointless rants or raves but apparently there's lots of sites with important and relevant information for the local area of Tampa. If you reside in the area of Tampa Bay (Hillsborough/Pinellas) you should visit these sites on a regular basis.

Sticks of Fire is a very well rounded community centric blog. You will find a decent array of topics ranging from politics to entertainment, neighborhood events to local business openings. Oh yeah, and Sticks of Fire has been voted Tampa Bay’s Best Blog for several years. Show offs.

Last but certainly not least, ReCreating Tampa. GNATV.com owes much of its popularity to Dave, for exchange links in the food section of his site. ReCreating Tampa was the first (that we know of) to introduce a real "Best of the Bay". And by real I mean the votes come from real people like you and me, not some pretentious hot shot food editor. So there's an instant connection between GNATV and ReCreating Tampa, we have similar ideologies; plus Google thinks so too (google "gnatv" and you'll get recreatingtampa.com first).
